Serving & Supporting Our Community

Winter Park Pet Concierge believes in supporting the community in which it serves and finding worthy causes that forge the union of animals and people for the betterment of our society.Freedom Ride is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization built on the conviction that we are not bound by our physical limitations. Freedom Ride is dedicated to enriching the lives and experiences of children and adults with disabilities such as Spina Bifida, developmental disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, brain injuries, speech and language disorders, among others in the Central Florida area through therapeutic horseback riding and related activities. Winter Park Pet Concierge has proudly selected Freedom Ride as its charity of choice.

Winter Park Lost Pets offers free listings for lost and found pets for Winter Park and the surrounding area. You can also sign up for free email alerts when a pet is lost or found. Other resources available include pet training and behavior, pet related recall alerts, pet events and general information.

Winter Park Pet Concierge enjoys supporting Winter Park Lost Pets. They serve an huge need in our communities. Our staff regularly volunteer at their events, go to them to support and participate as well as regularly donating to this amazing cause.

THE LOST PETS FOUNDATION was formed by WinterParkLostPets.com to help pets in need, to support local pet rescue efforts, and to expand public awareness of important services such as pet identification. Their goal is to continue to offer free or low cost microchips, spay/neuter, ID tags, vaccinations, assist with medical emergencies,and continue to provide the pet community with free or low cost alternatives to keep their pets healthy and safe. THE LOST PETS FOUNDATION is a 501(c)3 organization.

Franklin’s Friends provides critical funding for our community’s animal welfare advocates. Their mission is to support Central Florida animal welfare by awarding grants to local nonprofit and government agencies that are dedicated to shelter and rescue, spay and neuter, community education, or pet retention efforts. They want to ensure no organization that is asked to save a pet has to say no due to lack of funding. They provide three main categories of grants.Franklin’s Friends provide Animal Shelter and Rescue Grants. They help prevent this unnecessary loss of life by awarding animal rescue grants for veterinary care and behavioral training, so they can easily be adopted. Each year, our funds support hundreds of dogs and cats.The population of unwanted or homeless dogs and cats is staggering. To combat this problem, Franklin’s Friends provides funds to spay and neuter organizations through Spay, Neuter and TNR Grants to perform low-cost or free surgeries. Each year, these grants pay for hundreds of surgeries.Too many people don’t understand how to be responsible pet owners, which leads to pets being abandoned, alone, or injured. This is why Franklin’s Friends fund community education programs with Community Education Grants. These programs include enrichment activities for youth in the Parramore area of Orlando. We address bite prevention, the importance of spay and neuter, vaccination and regular veterinary care, and the basic requirements of proper pet care.

Canine Companions is leading the service dog industry clients and their dogs can live with greater independence. They provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Their dogs and all follow-up services are provided at no cost to our clients.

The Southeast Region of Canine Companions has been making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities since 1989. The Southeast Region Training Center, an 8-acre campus, opened on Independence Day, July 4, 2000, and serves the states of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Alabama. The campus consists of four buildings with a total of 32,000 square feet. It is a state-of-the-art facility where training, education and caring come together.
